Any coffee shop must-have men and women behind the scene that make the cup of coffee you take to give you that taste-these are the Baristas. A Barista is a person who makes espresso-based coffee drinks. Baristas are usually employed by specialty coffee cafes. To be a barista, you have to learn how to make many different types of coffee drinks. You might also need to be a little artistic! Baristas do not just wake up in the day and make that coffee, they acquire professional skills. The trends these days have changed and cafes are now the in-thing to bring together people who take alcohol and those who do not take alcohol. There is a growing number of Coffee places but the challenge remains-getting the right Professional Baristas to prepare the best Espresso, Cappuccino, Mocha, and Cafe Late among other coffees. The demand for Coffee Baristas is so high that in the region as coffee has become a uniting factor for non-alcoholic and alcoholic consumers. As of now, TIEA graduates do not meet the demand for Baristas in the region. We receive inquiries from Africa and the Middle East for Professional Baristas. Some cafes have gone ahead to sponsor training for their staff.

Tourism Institute of East Africa is one of the best Coffee Barista Training Institute and we continue to equip Coffee Barista Trainees with the Professional and relevant skills needed in the industry. This course allows one to gain a deeper understanding of the coffee itself and build on their practical skills for milk technique and latte art; not to mention health and safety, customer service, and business skills. By providing this world-class education platform, the Tourism Institute of East Africa believes that this will have a significant impact on the local and East African coffee industry and will raise the standards in coffee training at local, regional, and international levels. We do not stop at training but we also mentor those that have completed their training.

Now that the world is trying to get back to normal after 2 years of the pandemic and 1 year of transition from lockdowns and "normal", this year 2023 should be the year to acquire a professional skill that will open doors for employment and setting up your business in the coffee industry. Coffee is now consumed everywhere and so the need for Baristas is high in the region but also outside of the continent. Join this month's intake and become a professional Barista. We network our trainees as usual and connect them to employment opportunities.

Customer Care & Public Relations

Introduction

Customer Care Services & Public Relations are two careers with much in common. After all, both positions serve as the "face" of a company and work to uphold the company's image and A customer service representative, as the name implies, works directly with customers while public relations specialists most often deal with members of the media and other organizations. The key distinction between the two careers lies in who the representative works with. The similarities, however, usually end there. Customer service representatives answer customer inquiries, resolve complaints and make suggestions. The representatives work in a variety of environments, according to the nature of the company.
